The Modern House is an estate agency that helps people live in more thoughtful and beautiful ways. We believe in design as a powerful force for good. Esquire credits The Modern House with rewriting “the rulebook on estate agency”, and GQ has voted us “one of the best things in the world”. Founded in 2004 by two former design-editors, Matt Gibberd formerly a Senior Editor at The World of Interiors, and Albert Hill who was the Design Editor at Wallpaper, The Modern House draws on this knowledge of the design industry to maximise the value of the homes we market.
